    Shipyard Golf Club
Nestled within Hilton Head's natural setting of majestic Carolina pine trees, flowering magnolias and moss draped oaks, Shipyard Golf Club's 27-holes offer some of the most spectacular golf views imaginable. The course designers, George W. Cobb and Willard C. Byrd, inter-connected two of the three nine hole courses for a unique and challenging 18-hole round. The original Clipper and Galleon courses create and exciting combination of long fairways and perilous hazards, while the Brigantine course winds its way around lagoons and breathtaking terrain. The former home of the Hilton Head Senior International from 1982 to 1984, Shipyard Golf Club was rated as one of the finest layouts on the CHAMPIONS TOUR.

DAUFUSKIE ISLAND TOUR
Friday, August 16
10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Tucked between Hilton Head and Savannah and accessible only by boat, the island is a real gem – a trip back in time – providing a glimpse into a fascinating chapter of low country history. Join us for a small-group tour of the ‘undeveloped side' of Daufuskie with our interpretive guides and USCG Licensed Captains. We'll begin with a boat cruise down Broad Creek, through the backwater marshes, and across the Calibogue Sound to Daufuskie, just as Daufuskie residents have for generations. We'll visit several one-of-a-kind places: the First Union African Baptist Church, the Praise house, the Mary Field's School where author Pat Conroy taught, the site of the Bloody Point Lighthouse, and several artisans' studios. Includes: Round trip transportation to and from the Marina, Boat ride there and back, golf cart rental, all of the stops on the tour, USCG licensed Captain and Interpretive Historian, and a boxed lunch.
