Call-in Procedure

Ensure your credit union and member's data is safe. All financial institutions have sensitive financial and personal information to protect, and credit unions are no different. In this audio conference, you will review the requirements of the laws and regulations regarding information and physical security, outline current threats, and find out what examiners and auditors will expect to find the next time around.

Through this audio conference, you will:
  • Review what to do if someone calls requesting information by pretending to be an account holder
  • Determine if your security program is reported to the board annually as required for all federally-insured institutions
  • Learn if your identity theft red flags program and training are at work protecting your members and your credit union
  • Gain a better understanding of why physical security controls need to be updated, even if there has never been a breach
  • Discuss the impact of social networking sites and the security threats associated with the latest networking tools.
Who should attend
This audio conference is beneficial for security officers, security staff, and any credit union staff that are responsible for ensuring your credit union and member's data is safe.

Is a recording available for purchase?
Yes, you can share the information with other staff by ordering a recording of the audio conference (even if you couldn't attend the live call). Archives will be available within 24 hours of the live audio. Click here to register for the archived version.
